Assessors Office
The Assessor’s Office is responsible for identifying, listing, and valuing real property for property tax purposes. The office maintains property assessment records, reviews changes to properties, and works to ensure assessments are fair, accurate, and consistent with Illinois law.
Circuit Clerk's Office
The Circuit Clerk’s Office maintains the official records of the Circuit Court and processes court filings, fees, fines, and other case-related documents.
Clerk & Recorders Office
The County Clerk & Recorder’s Office administers elections, maintains vital records, and provides various licenses and official county records. The office also records and preserves real estate documents, deeds, mortgages, plats, and other public records.
Health Department
The Health Department works to protect and improve the health and well-being of the community through public health programs, education, prevention, and essential health services. The department provides services related to disease prevention, environmental health, vaccinations, health screenings, and other community health needs.
Highway Office
The Highway Department is responsible for maintaining and improving county roads, bridges, and related transportation infrastructure. The department oversees roadway maintenance, construction projects, snow and ice removal, and other services that help provide safe and reliable travel.
Probation Department
The Probation Department supervises individuals placed on probation by the courts and helps ensure compliance with court-ordered conditions. The department also provides monitoring, assessments, referrals, and other services aimed at accountability and successful rehabilitation.
Treasurer Office
The County Treasurer’s Office is responsible for collecting, managing, and distributing property tax revenues and other county funds. The office also maintains financial records and distributes tax payments to local taxing districts.
Sheriff's Non-Emergency
The Sheriff’s Office provides law enforcement and public safety services throughout the county, including patrol, investigations, civil process, and court security. For non-emergency matters, the office assists residents with reports, general inquiries, and other law enforcement-related services.

Veteran's Assistance Commission
The Veterans Assistance Commission assists veterans and their families in accessing benefits, services, and resources available through federal, state, and local programs. The office also provides guidance and support with benefit claims, financial assistance, and other veteran-related needs.
